Chen Jianghong 陈江洪 was born in Tianjin in Northern China.

1982

He studiedatthe Tianjin School of Decorative Arts.

1987

Graduated, he continued his studies at the Central Academy of Fine Arts in Beijing.

1988

He got a scholarship to come and study in Paris.

He joined the National High School of Fine Arts ( E.N.S.B.A.

) for a year and then began

his career as a professional painter.

He is also the author and illustrator of many youth albums to the editions : l'École

des loisirs.

For their illustrations, he used a traditional Chinese ink technique, on rice paper.

He lives and works in Paris France.
